Blood Vision created this graphic by hand carving a piece of birch plywood. Once all the negative space was removed the block was then inked and printed onto the DIY Kit canvas. Notice that the wood block is the reverse of the final print. So don’t forget to do your fonts backwards if you use this method. It can be printed with a wooden spoon rub or traditional press. Known for creating bold graphic shapes wood block printing is one of the oldest forms of printmaking.
